Job Description

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is seeking expressions of interest for three Crown Prosecutors in Brisbane to appear as counsel in superior court trials and a range of other criminal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Appear as leading counsel in criminal proceedings.
  • Provide authoritative advice on criminal law and evidence.
  • Initiate, vary, and discontinue serious criminal charges.
  • Communicate with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to professional development and supervision.
  • Improve ODPP practices.

Qualifications

  • Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Australia.
