As a Student Adviser at Deakin University, you will provide advice, support, and administrative services to enhance the student experience and empower students to achieve success.
Respond promptly to student queries, ensuring needs are met and providing standard advice or referrals when needed.
Collect, analyse, and present information clearly to solve problems and meet audience needs.
Manage records, track work progress, and escalate key issues as necessary.
Contribute to process improvements, share new ideas, and suggest changes to improve practices.
Foster teamwork, coach colleagues, build positive relationships with stakeholders, and model professional behaviours.
Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service within large organisations with complex structures, policies, and procedures.
Proven ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, diverse environments, managing face-to-face, phone, and written interactions with professionalism.
