Job Description

PresCare Groundwater Lodge is seeking a compassionate and motivated Lifestyle Officer to deliver spiritual, pastoral, and emotional support within our residential aged care community in Maryborough, Queensland.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalised spiritual and pastoral care in line with individual care plans
Provide support through reminiscence, reflection, prayer, or rituals, respecting diverse faiths and backgrounds
Facilitate and coordinate group spiritual and lifestyle activities
Offer bereavement support to residents, their families, and staff
Assist in the development and evaluation of spiritual care plans
Contribute to a caring and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Minimum one year's experience in lifestyle or pastoral care role
Understanding of pastoral care, chaplaincy, and spiritual practices
Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle and/or qualifications in spiritual/pastoral care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
