Responsibilities

Lead a team of planners in assessing development applications
Handle a wide range of complex applications related to industrial, commercial, or residential zoned land
Act as an expert witness in the Land and Environment Court
Supervise employees and foster a team environment
Interpret Acts and policies to make appropriate decisions
Communicate with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Development Assessment
Experience in providing leadership to team members
Ability to interpret Acts and policies
Excellent communication skills
Experience in updating and developing policies and procedures
