Lead the management and development of small signal analysis models for stability assessment of the National Electricity Market.
Support the development and tuning of seasonal snapshots and base cases for the NEM.
Prepare clear and concise written and verbal communications, reports, and stakeholder presentations.
Coach and direct junior staff on network modelling and analysis functions.
Independently undertake simulation and analysis of the power system.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop consistent messaging.
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a discipline relevant to power systems.
Extensive knowledge of modern power system theory, modelling, and analysis techniques.
Experience using power systems simulation applications such as PSCAD and PSS/E.
Proficiency in automation of processes with programming languages like Python, C++, or Fortran.
Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare high-quality reports.
