Job Description

Great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Payroll. Assist in all aspects of payroll from processing pay runs to answering employee queries. Permanent role based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with rest of Payroll team to assist with monthly payroll process
  • Assist with processing of superannuation, redundancy calculations
  • Engage with employees at all levels and answer queries
  • Assist in reviewing current payroll practices and determining efficiencies
  • Assist with reporting where required

Qualifications

  • 6+ months experience in Payroll or HR ideal but not necessary
  • Enthusiasm to learn and a passion for numbers
  • Payroll compliance knowledge
  • Intermediate Excel skills advantageous
  • General problem-solving skills
