Job Description

Ventia is seeking a Land Management Supervisor to join us at Simpson Barracks in Yallambie, Northeast Suburbs of Melbourne. This role involves providing effective and efficient delivery of the Land Management Service within an allocated geographical area in support of the Environmental, Maintenance and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Supervise Land Management staff and subcontractors.
Commitment to following HSE and Quality Assurance procedures, audits, checklists and registers.
Oversee care and upkeep of equipment.
Complete administration tasks arising from the Land Management Activity Schedule.
Monitor the performance of the ground’s maintenance team and provide technical advice and performance management when required.

Qualifications

Diploma in Horticulture or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years' experience in a similar working environment.
Good working knowledge of turf, horticulture, arboriculture, and irrigation operation.
Experience supervising, leading, managing, and mentoring staff.
Current Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence.
