Job Description

The Communications Manager at TAFE NSW is responsible for developing communications plans and supporting campaigns to promote and protect the organization's brand and reputation with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement internal communications plans aligned with the TAFE NSW Strategic Plan.
Create messages, select appropriate media and communications tactics, and measure effectiveness.
Lead communications projects supporting change.
Supervise and guide a small team.
Produce high-quality written materials including media releases, intranet content, and speeches.
Identify PR opportunities and respond to contentious issues.

Qualifications

Strong background in media and internal/external communications.
Experience supervising a small team.
Highly organized with strong writing skills.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
