Job Description

Join our team as the Handyperson at The Star Brisbane. The Star Brisbane is Australia's newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs such as patching, painting tiling, AV equipment, and general maintenance.
Ensure the timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Collaborate with the Property Operations team to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
Support the planning and execution of maintenance tasks and small-scale projects as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a handyperson, with practical skills in general building maintenance, including basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
