Job Description

Seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Student Systems and Business Support team at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. Lead projects that transform how students interact with the University from application to graduation.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of assigned projects, from planning through to implementation and close-out, using established project management tools and methods.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to define deliverables, negotiate objectives, and drive successful outcomes.

Maintain communication, ensuring project teams and stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout all stages.

Identify and manage project risks, impacts, and scope changes.

Monitor project milestones, track progress against key metrics, and lead post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement and capture learnings.

Support your team by resolving issues, removing roadblocks, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards) and extensive experience in project management, including Agile methods, within complex systems or equivalent work and/or training.

Proven ability to coordinate project delivery across the full lifecycle, from planning to implementation and support.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Project management certification/accreditation (desirable).
