Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an academic with strong econometrics and data science skills to contribute to a research project on the Impact of Institutions on Violence Against Women.

Responsibilities

Contribute to ongoing research projects.
Conduct research and produce papers and reports.
Prepare publications, presentations, and reports.
Maintain a high-quality publication record.
Co-supervise research-support staff.
Co-supervise CEVAW HDR students.
Contribute to research proposal submissions.
Attend professional activities.
Perform administrative functions.
Occasionally contribute to CEVAW?s research training and ethics programs.
Occasionally contribute to teaching and learning programs within the Faculty of Business and Law.
Attend regular meetings and be a member of committees.
Act as a leading example of the University?s and CEVAW?s Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

Doctoral qualification in economics or related social science discipline.
Extensive quantitative, problem-solving, statistical, and analytical skills.
High-quality published research in relevant disciplines.
Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
Proficiency in interdisciplinary research methodologies.
