Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an academic with strong econometrics and data science skills to contribute to a research project on the Impact of Institutions on Violence Against Women.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to ongoing research projects.
  • Conduct research and produce papers and reports.
  • Prepare publications, presentations, and reports.
  • Maintain a high-quality publication record.
  • Co-supervise research-support staff.
  • Co-supervise CEVAW HDR students.
  • Contribute to research proposal submissions.
  • Attend professional activities.
  • Perform administrative functions.
  • Occasionally contribute to CEVAW?s research training and ethics programs.
  • Occasionally contribute to teaching and learning programs within the Faculty of Business and Law.
  • Attend regular meetings and be a member of committees.
  • Act as a leading example of the University?s and CEVAW?s Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral qualification in economics or related social science discipline.
  • Extensive quantitative, problem-solving, statistical, and analytical skills.
  • High-quality published research in relevant disciplines.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in interdisciplinary research methodologies.
