Job Description

Join our dedicated Finance team as a Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer, responsible for processing payroll and supporting accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities

  • Process fortnightly payroll and maintain employee records
  • Support superannuation, tax, and employment forms administration
  • Calculate termination payments and ensure accurate leave recording
  • Assist with accounts payable functions

Qualifications

  • Experience in processing payroll, preferably in local government
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and payroll systems
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
