Job Description

Tassal Group is seeking a Senior WHS Manager to lead the Safety program for processing and land-based operations in Hobart. The role involves promoting and implementing safety strategies, managing safety systems, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate Safety systems, projects & programs
Set deadlines and manage Safety projects
Champion selected Safety programs
Monitor progress of Safety programs and projects
Provide guidance and leadership for resolving non-compliance issues
Lead investigations using ICAM methodology
Ensure accurate record-keeping and administration

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of WHS legislation
Formal qualifications in WHS/OHS, Psychology, Human or Health Sciences
Experience in incident investigations
Effective leadership skills
