Job Description

Accenture's Spatial team specializes in integrating GIS across industries, working with both local and global clients. They are looking for a GIS Consultant/Specialist with strong Esri expertise and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Design, setup, configure, troubleshoot and performance tune FME platforms (Form and Flow) and develop FME processes for customer integrations.
Support GIS Platform Implementation & support by setting up, configuring, troubleshooting and performance tuning GIS platforms for Server/Portal-based Enterprise GIS Solutions.
Engage in client engagement & consulting by gathering spatial client requirements, providing consulting services on Esri technology and other GIS technologies, and consulting with clients on implementing Esri and other GIS solutions.
Participate in technical planning & strategy by reviewing project spatial requirements, recommending appropriate hardware and/or software configurations, and evaluating new/emerging technologies.
Collaborate internally and externally by assisting other Accenture teams and countries with deploying & integrating Esri product suite and maintaining professional relationships with clients and partners.
Contribute to project management, sales & documentation by reporting progress to clients, supporting effort and cost estimates for tenders and proposals, and writing technical portions of project proposals.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in the spatial sector.
Strong knowledge of Esri/ArcGIS software and proficiency with scripting languages (Python, ArcPy) and ETL frameworks (FME, ArcGIS Data Interoperability).
Experience with GIS infrastructure planning, software & data solutions architecture, and Enterprise Geodatabases.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to support detailed documentation creation.
