Job Description

Hope Island Dental Care is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This dual role involves chair-side assistance and front desk management, with potential for a full-time position in the future.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and clean up practice daily
Sterilise dental instruments
Assist dentists during procedures
Take and develop X-rays
Ensure patient comfort
Maintain patient records
Manage inventory and supplies
Greet patients, manage appointments
Answer phone calls and patient enquiries
Manage patient billing
Keep reception area clean and organised

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or Receptionist preferred
Certificate III in Dental Assisting advantageous
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Professional and compassionate attitude
