Job Description

Join PwC's Procurement team as a Senior Category Manager specializing in technology categories to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement category strategies for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications
Lead complex sourcing projects including negotiations and contract management
Optimize total cost of ownership across technology spend categories
Drive innovation through strategic supplier partnerships
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs
Implement and maintain category performance metrics and reporting
Manage and develop a team of Category Managers and Procurement Specialists

Qualifications

5+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years specializing in technology categories
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
Professional certification in procurement and IT-related certifications
Deep understanding of IT hardware, infrastructure, software licensing models, and cloud services
Proven track record in driving cost savings and value creation in technology procurement
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into procurement strategies
Knowledge of procurement best practices and methodologies
Experience working in a global, matrix organization
