Job Description

Agoda is seeking an International Tax Manager to work in Bangkok and provide relocation assistance. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure efficient and compliant tax outcomes for the Agoda Group of Companies.

Responsibilities

Assist in international tax structuring initiatives and special projects
Assessment of tax positions and interpretations of business models
Keep up with new tax developments and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations
Support key business initiatives and financial modeling for tax impact
Evaluate current international tax structure and recommend optimization ideas
Review business agreements involving cross border transactions
Liaise with external advisors and handle tax audits/queries
Contribute to tax awareness and appreciation within the Agoda Group

Qualifications

Degree in law or accounting, Chartered Accountant or graduate degree in taxation preferred
6-8 years of international tax experience in Big 4 accounting/top law firm/multinational corporation
E-commerce or travel industry experience a plus
Strong technical knowledge of international tax laws
Project management expertise and ability to work independently
