Job Description

Join our pre-opening team at Caption by Hyatt Sydney and lead a high-performing team to maximize hotel performance and guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pre-opening sales strategies
  • Maximize revenue through room sales, corporate accounts, and partnerships
  • Lead the creation and execution of the hotel's sales strategies
  • Establish competitive sales targets across key market segments
  • Mentor, coach, and lead the Sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, leisure, and travel industry contacts
  • Optimize pricing, distribution, and demand generation
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Hospitality or Sales and Marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Results-driven with strong influencing skills
  • Passion for creating meaningful guest experiences
  • Ability to work under pressure and drive commercial success
