Job Description

Suburban Connect is seeking a Safety Coordinator for the Suburban Rail Loop Authority Project in Greater Melbourne Area. This role involves providing advice and guidance on OHS matters, conducting safety inspections, managing safety documentation, and participating in accident investigations.

Responsibilities

Attend various meetings to provide advice on OHS matters
Lead safety inspections and follow through on actions
Review Safe Work Method Statements and Contractor Safety Management Plans
Participate in accident/incident investigations and compile reports
Conduct regular Task Observations and assist in toolbox talks and pre-starts

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
Knowledge of OHS regulations and best practices
Strong communication and organizational skills
Certification in OHS is a plus
