Job Description

Salvos Stores is seeking a dedicated Chaplain to provide pastoral care to staff and volunteers. The role involves promoting spiritual activities, fostering community engagement, and collaborating with local organizations.

Responsibilities

Provide pastoral care to staff and volunteers through visitation and contact
Engage with the team regularly and attend site meetings
Organize and promote spiritual activities such as prayer time
Promote resources to staff and customers
Foster community engagement and collaborate with local organizations

Qualifications

Understanding and commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army
Diploma of Chaplaincy or willingness to undertake studies
Experience working with vulnerable people
Excellent communication skills
Current Australian Driver's License and Working with Children's Check
