Job Description

Join Cement Australia as a Senior Internal Auditor and play a key role in ensuring our business operates with strong, effective controls.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the annual internal audit program on time and within budget
Provide assurance on the effectiveness of Cement Australia's control environment
Perform end-to-end audits and ad-hoc reviews, including risk analysis and audit reporting
Communicate pragmatic, value-adding recommendations to the business
Present findings at audit exit meetings and finalise audit reports
Track and support the implementation of audit recommendations
Maintain and improve the internal audit framework and plans
Assist with shareholder audits and internal controls testing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or similar
4+ years of audit experience in a large accounting firm or corporate internal audit team
CA, CPA, or CIA qualification (desirable)
Strong business knowledge, commercial awareness, and client management skills
Ability to deliver audits independently
Excellent report writing, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
Proven project management skills
