Job Description

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Security Manager to lead strategic, professional and cost-effective security and emergency management services at current and future NGV sites and provide subject matter expertise and advice to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing and motivating the Security team, both internal and external.
  • Overseeing the recruitment of external security personnel.
  • Preparing and managing strategic frameworks for security and emergency management.
  • Providing expert security and emergency management advice to senior staff.
  • Working collaboratively with project partners for future NGV sites.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in security and emergency management sector.
  • Experience with security technologies such as AI, access control, etc.
  • Experience in compliance driven security environment.
  • Diploma/Certificate IV in Security Risk Management.
