Job Description

The Quarry Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the quarry business in NSW, including HSE management, sales, production control, cost management, quality assurance, and staff development.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain operations cost in line with the budget.
Drive a compelling work health and safety culture.
Collaborate with sales, logistics, and technical teams to enhance customer value.
Manage workforce capability through recruitment, training, and discipline.
Ensure quarry team operations comply with relevant legislations.
Maintain product quality in alignment with specified standards.
Oversee plant capacities, outputs, availability, and replacement plans.
Foster a culture of continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications

Concrete and aggregate industry experience.
Certificate 4 in Surface Extractive Industries.
Experience with sales/customer service preferred.
Strong financial management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Familiarity with relevant legislation.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
NSW Driver's License.
